YVO4 Laser Technology All RMI laser markers utilize Nd:YVO4
technology. Nd:YVO4 lasers feature several inherent advantages
over other types of laser systems. When compared to traditional
CO2 and Nd:YAG lasers, Nd:YVO4 lasers are more energy efficient.
This means that RMIs laser marker can achieve a more precise
mark while consuming less power. Lower power consumption
eliminates the need for external power supplies and large
cooling systems, making the RMI laser marker far smaller than
comparable systems. Also, Nd:YVO4 lasers can achieve a smaller
spot size and higher energy density than most competing systems,
making it ideal for ma r k ing on highl y reflective surfaces
like gold, silver, aluminum and other metals. Nd: YVO4
technology is also key in extending the life of our laser diodes
to more than 30,000 hours!

2D part marking YVO4 laser etchers laser marks 2D barcodes,
etches/engraves, part numbers, serial numbers permanently onto
parts.
Parts can then be tracked by reading the barcode with a 2D
part scanner.
The YVO4 laser is a small footprint laser marking
system for direct marking of parts and metals. The laser marks 2D
barcodes directly into the metals surface and etches/engraves fine numerics, part numbers, serial numbers, and manufacturer information
directly and permanently onto the parts. SPEC 2000 Aerospace
compliant.
