Radio Frequency ID products are utilized in warehouse, inventory management, distribution operations, and manufacturing. RFID tags applied during manufacturing to products/parts or product/part carriers, pallets and packaging, provide traceability and WIP (work in process) tracking information. The MES software will collect data from the tag as it passes a fixed mount RFID reader at critical data collection points throughout manufacturing and update inventory in real-time.
