The LANpoint XL is a natural for use in applications with forklifts and other
in-vehicle DC powered applications. Features include high quality touchscreen,
RF Ethernet wireless network as well as long distance cellular connectivity,
IP54 or IP65 waterproof cable covers, shock and vibration mounting accessories,
and power supplies suitable for gasoline, diesel, natural gas, or all-electric
vehicles. The industrial metal case with choice of 12.1” or 10.4” color LCD and
standard touchscreen has integrated function and other useful keys. Also
included is the state-of-the-art Windows CE.NET version 4.2 or Windows XP
Embedded operating system and all the additional features that you have come to
expect for an industrial terminal.
Measuring 9” x 11” and with an aluminum housing, these

terminals are built to operate in extreme environments including temperatures of

New industrial Ethernet I/O system designed with open architecture standards
allowing for easy development and deployment into existing and future plant-wide
systems. Isolated digital and analog I/O, 10/100BaseT Ethernet. Supports Windows
CE development tools (Microsoft’s embedded Visual Tools supporting eMbedded
Visual C++). Windows CE 3.0 provides true multitasking allowing both control and
monitoring functions to run simultaneously on an EDAS CE device.
Supports multiple I/O modules to meet a wide range of automation and
measurement applications. Case design allows up to 12 I/O modules to be added to
the base unit. EDAS CE provides from 8 to 192 points of analog, digital, and
serial I/O. The modules provide connectivity to virtually all sensors including
temperature, pressure, flow, voltage, current, contact closures, and RS-232
devices.
